Drexel’s Engineering Technology team puts the strengths, the resources, and the vision of a great and innovative university behind its programs, events, and outreach efforts.
We have a distinct and unique advantage over other universities in that the Drexel philosophy centers around the concept of experiential learning. Over the years, this has provided rich, rewarding and productive partnerships with corporations and organizations in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, throughout the country and around the world. Our faculty includes not only full-time instructors who have dedicated themselves to their field of interest, but also experienced adjuncts who actually hold positions within the industry, bringing a practical, applied sensibility to the classroom.
The result is an understanding of what it takes to provide a practical, well-rounded education with rigorous academics and quality faculty members
The Co-op Advantage
Classroom learning, research, projects, papers, and exams are all critical to academic pursuits. But it
will take experience in your field to set you apart from other graduates.
Drexel offers a variety of educational and employment opportunities to students through international study and internship programs, and the cooperative education program. More than 1,500 business, industrial, governmental, and other institutions cooperate with Drexel in offering students the opportunity to acquire practical experience in employment related to college studies.
